FKM Launches Bertolli Olive Oil iPad App

With the launch of Let’s Cook!, FKM takes Bertolli Olive Oil, the world’s number-one-selling brand of olive oil, beyond the competition.  The new iPad app offers utility for at-home chefs—the enlightening and engaging platform brings fun back into the kitchen, while expanding consumers’ knowledge of cooking with olive oil.

“The development of the app was an agency-wide initiative, with all cross-functional idea teams touching the project during its lifespan from first insight to official launch,” said Tricia Coghlan, Brand Development Director at FKM.  “We are proud to say that Bertolli will be the first olive oil brand with its own app, giving consumers the knowledge, skill and confidence to cook like a pro.”

Launched in partnership with brand ambassador Chef Fabio Viviani, the app features 16 step-by-step video recipes by Chef Fabio in full-screen HD video, cooking and entertaining tips, 100+ step-by-step recipes and a section dedicated to the wonders of olive oil.  At-home chefs can watch and cook alongside Chef Fabio as he brings flavors to life in some of his favorite dishes featuring Bertolli Olive Oil, a brand trusted worldwide for nearly 150 years.

The Let’s Cook! app is one component of the integrated campaign that also includes Bertolli Olive Oil's Cooking Lessons with Chef Fabio Viviani Sweepstakes, WhereFlavorComesFrom.com microsite, and Bertolli Facebook page and social media presence.
